Social Media Copywriter
Description:
The Social Media Copywriter will work with our small but mighty team to write and schedule social media posts for a variety of clients. They will work in tandem with our Director and Marketing Assistant and will be responsible for creating engaging content and keeping social media channels fresh and brand-focused. The ideal candidate will have a gift for words and be very detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
Create engaging social media copy for 3-4 different brands
Conduct hashtag research and use effectively for posts and brands
Utilize project management tools and scheduling software to manage a consistent content calendar
Manage their schedule independently
Requirements:
Strong written communication skills
Background in and/or passion for writing
Detail-oriented, focused, and self-driven
Prior experience in social media management
Well-versed with social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Sked Social, etc.) and social media platforms themselves
Other Information:
This is a remote position.
This is a part-time contractor position (5-10 hours/week) with potential for growth.
Pay is $25-30 / hour based on experience.
